A:
  • Strengthens and maintains paving performance as the sand is bonded by the sealant.
  • Reduces surface porosity thereby resisting the penetration of stains
  • Inhibits the growth of weeds, grass, algae & lichen.
  • Helps to prevent the colonisation of ants nests
  • Renders the area easier to maintain in the future.
  • Enhances the appearance, especially older paving blocks.

Q. How long will the cleaning take?
A. Depending on the size of the area and stains to be cleaned, most jobs are
completed in one day. But the weather can play it's part, we will clean your area in any weather, although we may have to come back another day when the surface is dry to carry out any sealing applications.

Q. Can oil stains be removed?
A. Oil stains can be removed or reduced depending on the extent, so occasionally not all oil stains can be completely removed.

The type of surface also comes into consideration and the length of time the stain has been present.

Q. Can you still re-sand & seal the paving if it's raining?
A. No. The paving must be completely dry and in the case of block paved areas, the kiln dried sand needs to work its way into the joints, maximizing stability. If the sand is wet, it won't pack into the joints properly as it will become thick and cloggy. For the sealing process, a dry surface is a must and no dampness should occur when the sealant is sprayed on.

Q. Do I need to put a deposit down for booking in the job?

A: No. We never ask for deposits. Payment is recieved only when the job is completed and to your satisfaction.

This excludes Reverse Graffiti.

Q. Do you need to connect to my outside tap?

A. We do require connection but don't have to if you don't wish, we have a tank on the van but if you don't mind us using your tap then it would cancel out interupted work as we would need to go away for water.

Q. We need our car park cleaned throughout, parking bays, kerbs and paving etc. But we don't want you to blast all the slop and solids down the drains, how would you manage avoiding this?

A: We can arrange for a roadsweeper to work with us as we have a company in the family that carries out this type of work on a daily basis and have done for over 15 years. We would clean every designated area into an accessable path for the roadsweeper to pick up, usually the roadway. Other than this and to keep costs as low as possible, we would scoop up and bag.

Q. How do you empty gutters?

A. We suck them out using an industrial vacuum and can do so up to 3 storey height.

Q. When you're cleaning the roof, do you cover the lawn and plants etc?

A. Yes. We will cover these areas with sheeting.

Q. I want the driveway cleaned but I can't be there as I always work through the day, is this a problem?

A. It's not a problem, you don't have to be there and we can always call back for the payment in the evening when you're home or we can post an invoice through the letterbox which contains details on payment methods including cheque and BACS. Any access issues would have to be disscussed like security codes for electric gates and any side gates left unlocked for when we arrive.

Q. Do you protect the windows and doors when removing the paint from the brick work?

A. Yes, we certainly do.
